Ring size tools
Ring sizers, or 'ring mandrels', are cylindrical tools that jewellers use to measure ring sizes. The ring slides down the pole to match the standard ring sizes.
Paper strip method
Wrap a narrow paper strip around the finger and mark where it overlaps. Measure the length in millimetres and compare it with the circumference column in our chart. This is only a rough check: paper can bend or stretch, so confirm with a jeweller if you are unsure.
